Moroccan Flavoured Lamb Kebabs

ingredients

  • 6 - 8 lamb steaks depending on size

  • 2tbsp Middle Eastern Grill

  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 lemon

  • 12 skewers

  • extra virgin olive oil 

  • 1 cup greek yoghurt

  • small handful fresh mint 


method

  • Cut the lamb into cubes

  • Dry fry the spices until fragrant and the add to the lamb with a squeeze of lemon, salt and olive oil and give a good massage. Set aside

  • Chop the mint and add to the yoghurt, season with black pepper

  • Skewer the lamb pieces 4 -5 pieces per skewer

  • Heat Frypan or BBQ to hot, add a little oil and place pitta into the frypan. Brown on both sides and drain on paper towels, then chop into pieces

  • Now fry the lamb skewers in batches if necessary, Add a squeeze of lemon at the end of the cooking process

  • Serve with Tabbouleh, yoghurt and pitta
